Goal

  • The goal of our league is to provide: low cost, professionally organized basketball leagues for all levels of play for Men, Women and Children in the five boroughs of New York city. With our many Quality locations we are able to schedule your team on the nights it chooses to play. Our scheduling system is designed to have teams of similar caliber compete against each other in the regular season as well as in the playoffs offering teams of every caliber a chance to win the league championship not just the best teams.  The playoff format is a NCAA styled tournament.

    With     Qualified League Directors and representatives present at all games, RPSA Basketball pays careful attention to the players concerns, questions, opinions and suggestions.

 

Throughout the year (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas) there are league parties for league participants as our way of saying thank you.

 

We are currently in our 84th season.

 

Experience

Member of the Christ the King Men’s Basketball team from 1986-1990.

Won four straight Brooklyn Queens Championships (1987, 1988, 1989, 1990).

Won two New York City Championships (1987, 1989)

Won the New York State Championship (1989) at Christ the King HS.

Member of the ESU Men’s Basketball team..

Thirteen year’s of experience organizing Adult basketball leagues.

Coach current and former Professional, College, and High School players as well as organize an Instructional Youth Clinic for Kindergarten, first and second graders.

Chairmen of a charity golf outing that raises $10,000+ per year.

Locations

Winter Spring and Fall League Basketball games are played at Christ the King HS, Cathedral Prep HS, Msgr. McClancy HS, Redeemer Lutheran School and I.S. 77.

 

Summer Leagues are played at Maurice Park under the lights Monday – Thursdays, Forest Park Tuesday – Thursday, Mafera Park Monday – Thursday, Jackson Pond Tuesday and Wednesday and our NCAA Sanctioned Top Gun division plays at Christ the King HS.
